This kirtle, which is cut in an Early Renaissance style, can only be worn with a chemise or shift. The kirtle laces at the front with a black tie and is completely open from the waist down. The neckline, front opening, and armholes are edged with black and gold trim. The sleeves are decorated with golden bows. They are laced to the bodice straps and are completely removable. The V-shaped waist and the back of our red kirtle are reinforced to provide a form-fitting shape.
Wear it with a white shift or chemise. The golden chemise shown is discontinued.
