Fantasy Dress "Wanderer"
The linen robe “Wanderer” is made of two types of cloth: the base is of unbleached canvas-like linen, while the hood and sleeves are made of thinner, almost semitransparent linen, resembling coarse sackcloth and the lightweight fabric of a great lady's wimple at the same time.
The robe dress is bias-cut, allowing the fabric to stretch slightly, and features a slightly high waistline, creating a slim, elongated silhouette. The skirt of the robe, which is exceptionally wide - almost 8 meters along the bottom, falls in soft, long folds. Wide gauzy sleeves complete the effect of something unearthly and fantastic.
Regardless of the size, approximately 12 meters of cloth go to make this fantasy dress. Additional fullness in a skirt is achieved by adding two godets — the front one is sewn slightly higher than the rear one to emphasize the back's arch and the silhouette's loftiness. The ample half-round hood can frame the face like a shawl or be draped like a scarf or a voluminous collar when necessary.
All fixed-size items are made for full height 5' 6" (168 cm), should fit fine to the growth 5' 5" – 5' 7" (165–170 cm). Fixed-size dresses are 58" (148 cm) long in sizes 0–8 and 59" (150 cm) in sizes 10–12.
